LOCATION

Presently this institute is located in a panoramic, greenery and picturesque site with natural academic friendly environment at Mohuda, in very spacious land of 23 acres, which is around 7 kms from Berhampur town. Berhampur(GM) is in the Howrah- Chennai main line, which is well connected by rail and road, Bhubaneswar is the nearest Airport , which is around 170 kms by road/ rail.

 

INFRASTRUCTURE

The college is well equipped with excellent infrastructure of permanent buildings with state of Act facilities (Laboratories, Lecture hall,s Seminar Halls, Instrtuments Unit, Computr Unit etc) with all required additional amenities as per the AICTE, PCI norms. This is the only institute in the entire eastern belt to procure a world class FTIR spectroscopy from Perkin Elmer of Switzerland, besides having other Modern Analytical Techniques instruments for providing a strong research base. The College is recognized as a nodel research center for the Ph.D programmes by various Universities.

 

LIBRARY
We furnished Library with around 7000 books and more than 30 Journals ( National & International) / periodicals are provided with adequate reading room , internet access and Xerox machine

 

COMPUTER LABORATORY
A well furnished modern computer laboratory with 51 Comuter systems out of which internet connection is provided to 25 computers

 

The college has received several financial assistance for the Research & Development activities from University Grants Commission under Major & Minor Research Projects from AICTE under R&D and MODROBS schemes respectively

CANCER Chemotherapy Research Unit

For the first time in the state of Orissa, the college has successfully started Cancer Chemotherapy research Unit at the college under the able guidance of Prof. (Dr) A.U.De, an internationally acclaimed Scientist and his team of faculty of this Institution.

 

ACADEMIC MERIT AWARDS

Academic merit awards are presented to outstanding Pharmacy Students every year during National Pharmacy Week celebration.

 

TRAINING & PLACEMENT
The students are sent to various Pharmaceutical Industries during the course work for a practical exposure and the placement is arrangement through career counseling net works and campus interviews.

 

HOSTEL

Permanent hostel building is available in Berhampur town besides other Hostel accommodations for boys & girls at sporadic sports in Berhampur town.

 

TRANSPORT FACILITY

The college provides transport facility to students and staff from Berhampur to Mohuda and back .

 

HERBAL GARDEN

An excellent Herbal Garden with more than 100 various medicinal plants is maintained for academic work amenable to Pharmacognosy.
